Ms. Rivas holds a clinical license as a bicultural and multilingual social worker. She has 13 years of experience working with non-profit organizations. She has worked in diverse range of settings for example, working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people with substance abuse problems as well as survivors of sexual assault and with partners who have been victimized. Dr. Rivas, who is a member of the Behavioral Health Perinatal team that works with pregnant and postpartum women. She provides trauma-informed therapy for adults, and is a specialist in treatments that are based on trauma. She provides individual and group therapy, as well as a medication assisted treatment program. Special care referrals are also provided. Amanda is also a volunteer at Best Friends Animal Society, aiding animals in need to find permanent homes.
